Beer Tasting: Sly Fox Ichor

Ichor is a quadrupel style beer from Sly Fox Brewing Co. It is currently available only in 25 ounce bottles. This bottle was purchased from the Phoenixville brewery. As you'll see from the review below, it is possible that some aging may help this beer. Have you tasted this beer? Let us know what you think. As a suggestion, try to keep the review as brief as possible for each of the following: appearance; smell; taste; mouthfeel; and drinkability. Appearance Adam: no head, no ring Bryan: dark cherry color, no head, barely a ring, a few bubbles Smell Adam: sour almost offputting Bryan: bit of sour nose, apple?, not much alchohol Taste Adam: sweet, almost too young :-(, alchohol is present Bryan: very sweet, almost cola-like, too young? Mouthfeel Adam: flat Bryan: flat, little texture Drinkability Adam: not really, but, I paid for $$ it Bryan: not really Seconds? Adam: nope Bryan: not this year
