Beer Tasting: Victory Tripilsner

This is an "amped-up" pilsner style lager from Victory Brewing in Downingtown, PA. This was consumed from a growler immediately after purchasing from the brewery. Have you tasted this beer? Let us know what you think. As a suggestion, try to keep the review as brief as possible for each of the following: appearance; smell; taste; mouthfeel; and drinkability. Appearance Adam: Sunset Yellow, nice head, dissipates to very thin carpet of bubbles Bryan: very pale golden color; a decent head that fades quickly to a thin head with nice lacing Smell Adam: slightly sweet with alcohol presence Bryan: grassy hops aroma with a touch of alcohol Taste Adam: alcohol again prominent, but, crisp hops profile, do we have a Golden Monkey successor? Bryan: easy and sweet upfront; solid in the middle; with a pleasant bitter kick in the finish Mouthfeel Adam: well carbonated, substantial...er...light...er...heavy....I DON'T KNOW! Bryan: smooth in the beginning; grows to a fuller body; and finishes with a bit of biting bitter; just the right amount of carbonation to carry the beer happily through your palate Drinkability Adam: honestly, there's not much to stop you from having a few Bryan: absolutely, but be careful, at 8.8%ABV it will catch up with you quickly Seconds? Adam: Definitely, I'm still exploring this one (across the hedges) BRYAN! CAN I HAVE ANOTHER?! Bryan: uh, Adam text messaged me during '24' for another pouring, need I say more?! Might be making a return to the brewery for more while it lasts!
