Food & Beer: Sauerkraut and Pork
Today we're having sauerkraut and pork! This is one of my favorite meals. I guess it reminds me of my Pennsylvania Dutch (German) roots. Traditionally this was the meal my Grandmother, Mother and aunts would prepare on New Years Eve for New Years Day. This year I won't be with them to celebrate, but, we'll still enjoy it here at home.
What beer should be paired with sauerkraut and pork? A German lager? A Saison?
