Run the Beer Week, part 2: The Next Steps

Two weeks ago, here's what I said we'd do-----and here's what we did-----and pictures to prove it.

Two weeks from now on 4/3/10 at TJs in Paoli, the next opportunity to continue accumulating points toward the big Philly Beer Run on June 5th.

This will be a great opportunity to check out one of suburban Philadelphia's best beer bars and run some of the western Main Line's country roads. I've conducted one group run from TJs before and I'm betting that Kevin will be happy to share a story or two with you.

This one will be pretty tame. I'm estimating it at 4.65 miles. Though, tame in distance, the route makes up for it with a few gradual inclines that will be sure to get some your attentions.

But, for those of you not familiar with the area, be assured that I will leave no runner behind. I will promise to finish at TJs with the last runner.

For you city runners, this one is very easy to get to by train (here's a map). Taking Amtrak out of 30th Street Station or the R5 SEPTA from anywhere in the city, get off at the Paoli Station and walk across the street less than a 2/10 mile to TJs' front door.

We'll gather at 11:30am for a departure no later than 12 noon. All I need now is a headcount so that the staff at TJs can be prepared for us. Please RSVP now or no later than Wednesday March 31st.

We've been through these drills before, but if you need more details about what this is all about, please drop a note to me at Bryan@BrewLounge.com
