Weekly Beer Calendar Update: October 18 - October 24

Oktoberfest may have come to a close, but the month of October still has plenty to offer on the beer events calendar in and around Philadelphia.

@Teresa's Next Door, Wayne, Pa.--- Sat. 10/20 - Lambic Luncheon ($PAYG as they will be pouring St. Louis Gueuze Fond Tradition, Vicaris Tripel-Gueuze, Oude Gueuze Tilquin à L'Ancienne, and Cantillon Classic Gueuze all on tap. Also expect to see flights of assorted Cantillon, Drie Fonteinen and others poured from stashed bottles too. A Lambic based menu is in the works too.)

@DiBruno Bros., Philadelphia, Pa.--- Sat. 10/20 - Beer Making Class (12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.; $Free as Brooklyn Brew Shop co-founders Erica Shea and Stephen Valand will be teaching a free beer making class to show you all the steps from grain to glass to start turning out your own high-quality stove-top craft brews. The two will be on hand to answer your brewing questions and will be pouring samples of seasonally-inspired Fall beers including Bourbon Dubbel, a smooth dark Belgian ale brewed with oak chips soaked in bourbon. Beers will be paired with cheeses from the Di Bruno Bros. team.)
