@Pennsylvania Convention Center, Philadelphia, Pa. — Fri. 11/8 - Handcrafted Beer: A Tasting Event (7 p.m.-8:30 p.m.; $45 to experience craft beer as the brewers intended. Don Russell (aka Joe Sixpack) has curated a collection of local and Lithuanian brews that cannot be found together anywhere in the city. This is your chance to meet the brewers, sample their beer, and learn some of the trade secrets that go into brewing one-of-a-kind brews. All proceeds benefit the Philadelphia Museum of Art.)

@River Horse, Ewing, NJ — Fri. 11/8 - NovemberFest (7 p.m.-10 p.m.; $15 for your first beer, glass, pretzels and water. After that, it’s pay as you go with beers at $5. It’s like Shad Fest, Oktoberfest, and a good ol’ housewarming all rolled into one.)
