Weekly Beer Calendar Update: December 5 - December 11

As we enter the month of December, colder temperatures, and the presentation of bigger beers, it stands to reason that we'll be finding more food and beer events as we near the holidays. Plus, all the usual debauchery at beer/Santa and other such events. We're going to warp speed now. Fifty events listed below. Go get 'em.

@Field House, Philadelphia, Pa. — Tue. 12/10 - Win A Trip To Belgium (7 p.m.-9 p.m.; $PAYG to vote for your favorite local brewer between now and Tuesday, Dec. 10. Then, in a fun afternoon of vote-counting, we'll draw one lucky ballot. The lucky winner will accompany his or her favorite local brewer on a trip to Brouwerij Dilewyns to help brew the 2014 PBW Collaboration beer with head brewer Anne Catherine Dilewyns, the youngest female brewer in Belgium. Plus, this year, even more prizes will be awarded to additonal winners, including great beer, gift certificates, and festival tix.)
