Not too shabby for the last five days of August, eh?
Also, please keep my book events in mind where I'm talking beer, selling/signing books, and in some cases tasting beer with anyone who shows up. The events thus far have been successful and I'm looking forward to keeping it going. Labor Day weekend will find me at The Beer Yard in Wayne, Pa. with a table full of books along side of some great beers from Troegs and foods on the grill all in their annual effort to raise money for the Delaware County SPCA.

Fri. 8/28; 6:30 p.m. - Craft Beer Dinner with Forgotten Boardwalk at Renault Winery ($45 for five courses of food served with Forgotten Boardwalk's Morro Castle Smoked Porter, On The Waterfront Session IPA, What The Butler Saw, 1916 Shore Shriver IPA, and Funnel Cake.)
Lancaster, Pa.
Sat. 8/29; 3 p.m.-7:30 p.m. - Lancaster Craft Beerfest at Lancaster Square and Binns Park ($12-$55 for dozens of options from some of the best breweries, including those right in our neighborhood and from across the country. There will be great food and live music to enjoy as well.)
Manahawkin, NJ
Sat. 8/29; 1 p.m.-7 p.m. - Manahopkin at Manahawkin Lake Park ($8-$40 for music, food, vendors, and beer tasting.)
Media, Pa.
Thu. 8/27; 6 p.m.-8 p.m. - Long Trail Promo Night at Pinocchio's ($PAYG for a night of beers from Long Trail.)

Mon. 8/31; 8 p.m.-10 p.m. - New Belgium Beer Company Draft Event at Capone's ($PAYG to meet with the folk from New Belgium Brewery, draft beers on tap, and bottles in the bottle shop.)
Philadelphia, Pa.
Sat. 8/29; 3 p.m. - Anniversary Party at Jose Pistola's ($PAYG for complimentary tacos of delicious, slow-roasted pig. Beer tba, but they will be the best damn beers you've ever seen.)
Sat. 8/29; 5 p.m. - Battle of the Breweries at Bottle Bar East ($PAYG for one beer from one brewery...Winner Takes All. Featuring Round Guys, Free Will, Naked, Doylestown, and Conshohocken.)
