Weekly Beer Event Calendar Update: Philadelphia & beyond: October 19 - October 25

Plenty of great beer continues to flow at events here as October begins to wind down. Get the last of your Oktoberfest on while you can.

Adamstown, Pa.
Sun. 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, & 10/22; 1 p.m. — Oktoberfest at Stoudts Brewing Company [A fun-filled family event held every Sunday in October, featuring live German music, dancing, Stoudts award winning lagers and ales, Hand-rolled soft pretzels from our Wonderful Good market, locally produced German-style sausages, and other delicious German food.  $10-$30]

Coatesville, Pa.
Sat. 10/21 & Sun. 10/22; 12 p.m.-7 p.m. — Boxcar Pop-up Beer Garden Benefit at Brandywine Outfitters [Boxcar lost a dear friend recently and we want to celebrate his life over his birthday weekend.  $PAYG]

Doylestown, Pa.
Sat. 10/21; 3 p.m.-6 p.m. — PA Craft Patio Party at Penn Taproom [We will be celebrating some of Pennsylvania's great breweries for an afternoon of drinking some rare one offs and excellent usual suspects from these breweries.  $PAYG]

Elizabethtown, Pa.
Tue. 10/24 through Thu. 10/26; 6 p.m.-9 p.m. — Elizabethtown Rotary Pints for Polio at Funk, Cox, and Moo-Duck breweries [Every purchase will help raise money towards our cause. Plus, every dollar we raise will get matched 2:1 thanks to the generous support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.  $20-$50 + $PAYG]

Sun. 10/22; 12 p.m. — Bacon and Brew HaHa Fundraiser at Appalachian Brewing Company [Expect to sample awesome home brewed beers as well as every type of food imaginable with the special ingredient…bacon.  $25-$30]

Huntingdon Valley, Pa.
Sat. 10/21; 4 p.m.-9 p.m. — Booz and Brews at Naked Brewing Company [Live music, food trucks, costume contest, vendors, spooks & goblins, naked body paints, fx effects, lazer lights, tons of entertainment, fire pits, and free parking.  $25-$30]

Lancaster, Pa.
Thu. 10/19; 5 p.m.-9 p.m. — Vault Brewing Night at Hunger N Thirst [Join us as we welcome Vault Brewing Company to take over a bunch of tap lines.  $PAYG]
Sat. 10/21; 3 p.m.-5 p.m. — Oktoberfest Brew Review at Isaac's Pickle Bar [Four great fall-inspired dishes paired up with four seasonal craft drafts from our favorite breweries.  $29.95]

Thu. 10/19; 5 p.m.-7 p.m. — Bell's Night at Pinocchio's [A night of beers from Bell's.  $PAYG]

Milton, Del.
Fri. 10/20; All day — Pennsylvania Tuxedo and Sixty One are back at Dogfish Head Craft Brewery [Be sure to wear your flannel ... after all, what's a Pennsylvania Tuxedo celebration without a little (okay, a lot) of flannel.  $PAYG]

Newark, Del.
Sat. 10/21; 4 p.m. — Fall "Brewers Pizza Night" Festival at Argilla Brewing Company [Each brewery creates a pizza based off of ingredients we have in house plus, a few special ingredients can be added. They choose one of their beer that pairs or just a beer they want to showcase, we tap it, and people drink it. As for the pizza, we hand out ballots and customers vote. Whoever's pizza wins, that brewery gets a pizza crown, bragging rights, and the winning pie gets featured on our menu as the “brewers guild pie”.  $PAYG]
Mon. 10/23; All day — Last Alarm IPA release at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant [Join us for the release of Last Alarm IPA, a beer for the fallen and injured firefighters in the deadly fire on September 24th, 2016.  $PAYG]

Palmyra, Pa.
Thu. 10/19; 6 p.m.-8 p.m. — Dogfish Head Tap Attack at Funck's [A night of beers from Dogfish Head.  $PAYG]

Philadelphia, Pa.
Thu. 10/19; 4 p.m. — Pumpkin Head at Standard Tap [We will tap a variety of pumpkin beers. $10 buys you your first pumpkin beer and your very own hollowed-out gourd from which to drink it. Refills only $3.  $10 + $PAYG]
Thu. 10/19; 7 p.m. — The De-BREW-Tante Ball: A Neo Revue with a Brand New Brew at St. Benjamin Brewing Company [An evening featuring a vast variety of performers, with skills encompassing the art of neo-burlesque, vaudeville, sideshow, and beyond! As if that wasn't enough each month, Saint Benjamin is going to tap a different and unique firkin for the show.  $10 + $PAYG]
Fri. 10/20; 3 p.m. — Pumpkin Beers at Bell Beverage [Tasting samples of pumpkin beers.  $Free]
Fri. 10/20; 7 p.m. — They Came From the 90's: Ommegang's 20th Anniversary at City Tap House-Logan [From 7-10pm we'll be throwing a 90s dance party. Then, at 10pm, 90s tribute band Red Team Go! will be playing all the 90s hits your rollerblading heart desires. And yes, there will be cake.  $PAYG]

Sat. 10/21; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. — Chestnut Hill's Harry Potter Festival at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant [Featuring three festival themed beers on tap: Hallowed Helles, The Sorcerer's Stout, and IPA That Shall Not Be Named. The Sorcerer's Stout and IPA That Shall Not Be Named will be available in limited release 750ml bottles.  $PAYG]
Sat. 10/21; 1 p.m.-6 p.m. — Beer Brewing Program, Level One at Philly Beer School [A brewer-instructor will guide you through the process step by step: from brew to boil to bottle.  $150]
Sat. 10/21; 12 p.m.-6 p.m. — Halloween Block Party at St. Benjamin Brewing Company [Enjoy fall favorite beers, street vendors and food trucks for an outdoor celebration of Autumn. All proceeds to benefit the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.  $PAYG]

Fri. 10/20; 7 p.m.-10 p.m. — Brewery Room Beer Pairing Dinner at Shawnee Craft Brewing Company [This special beer pairing dinner features a Pennsylvania Dutch five-course menu using produce grown on the Shawnee Island Farm. Each course is carefully paired with a ShawneeCraft beer.  $49]

Voorhees, NJ
Sun. 10/22; 11 a.m.-2 p.m. — The Boy Who Brunched at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant [All witches, wizards, and muggles need to refuel from weekend festivities so join us to keep the party going with a Harry Potter themed brunch menu and two specialty cocktails.  $PAYG]
