San Francisco Brewing Company soon to be a memory

San Francisco Brewing Company is preparing to close for good. It was never a first stop or the most memorable stop, but always a stop as part of San Francisco's (more specifically, North Beach's) brewing history. A good stopping point on a walk from 21st Amendment/Thirsty Bear to Rogue Public Ale House/Church Key/La Trappe. Here was my initial review back in 2006. Most recently, during San Francisco Beer Week, Patty and I saddled up to the SF Brewing Co. bar and put back a couple of beers while being entertained by the singing bartender (a singer/musician...jazz/lounge, if I recall correctly) in the middle of a perfectly normal afternoon!
