The Brewer's Plate 2012 (yes, 2012)

In light of my embarrassing discovery that I never pushed these pictures out to you last year for your consumption (and, maybe, enjoyment), I come to you humbled with pictures and a few words from last year's Brewer's Plate in Philadelphia. I figured it might play nicely here two days prior to the 2013 installment of what is often referred to as one of the country's finest displays at the intersection of food and beer.

Once you've checked out and reminisced on the past, hit up this link and help these guys sell out before Sunday, which they will. So, don't procrastinate too much longer.

(View of the National Constitution Center from Arch Street.)

(The Signers with beer)

(Cheese, with beer? Of course.)

(A whole roasted suckling pig. Is there anything better at a beer festival?

(Distrito's lucha libre wrestling mask)

(South Philadelphia Tap Room table always a popular one)

(Majestic ciew from upstairs at the two-level Brewer's Plate festival. A far cry from the early days at the homey Reading Terminal Market)

(Keswick Creamery bringing the dairy goodness)

(El Camino Real entrancing display makes you want to look, look away, and look back again.)

(The guys from West Chester's Boxcar Brewing Company)

(Bent Spoon making Russian River Consecration "floats")

(Hoppin' John Orchestra swinging it)

(Mrs. Brew Lounge, Nick Johnson (back), and the Patrick-and-Tracy-Sly Fox-reppin' tag-team)
