December 2016: News update, part 2

Let's see what I've got here in the leftover bag for you as we close out 2016. Most of it Philly-related. Here we go....

~ Arthur Etchells says goodbye to Philadelphia Magazine [link to Foobooz/Philly Mag] and hello to Manatawny Still Works. [link to MSW]

~ A nice story/interview about one of Philly's finest - McGillin's. [link to Philly Mag]

~ Scoats is at it again; here's the back story. [link to Philly.com]

~ Thanks to Saint Benjamin, I think I've spotted what I want to do on New Year's Day. [link to Philly Mag/Foobooz]

~ Stable 12 in Phoenixville is canning its beer. [link to The Town Dish]

~ I'll need to head to King of Prussia (after the holidays!!) to check this out. On paper it doesn't seem to be "my thing", but I'll give it a fair shake. [link to Philly.com]

~ I walked by this restaurant in NYC just last week and then randomly came across this review. Has nearly nothing to do with beer, but damn is it a fun read. [link to New York Times]

~ I'm also in favor of banishing these terms, but in this order - 5, 3, 2, 4, 1. [link to the American Homebrewers Association]

~ The last new brewery to Philly in 2016. [link to Philly.com]

~ It'll still be business-as-usual, according to the article, but slightly newsworthy nonetheless. [link to Philly.com]
