To that I say. I sure am! So this is what a lager looks like when it ferments. So this is my first lager. I thought there was fungus on the top of the beer. Then I looked more closely and its little islands of bubbles coming up from the bottom.
At least I hope that's all it is! :-)

Home Brew: You're gonna DRINK that?
To that I say. I sure am! So this is what a lager looks like when it ferments. So this is my first lager. I thought there was fungus on the top of the beer. Then I looked more closely and its little islands of bubbles coming up from the bottom.
At least I hope that's all it is! :-)

I always thought that lagers were bottom fermenting?
You're right. The bubbles come up from the bottom and form these little islands of foam :-)
