Tap List at South Philadelphia Tap Room in Philadelphia, PA
Just a quick reminder here about the stellar tap list at South Philadelphia Tap Room at 15th/Mifflin in South Philly this past week. How ironic that you posted this...I was there twice last week and was sippin happily. I even took a picture so I could blog about the list, but I hadn't gotten to it yet.....
SPTR is a superb spot with good food that luckily is only a few blocks from me, but I know it's a bit of a southern stretch for most. Did you read about their chocolate, beer and cheese events starting on 9.22?
Hope all is well,
Hey Suzanne, thanks for stopping in here! Glad to hear from you.
Yeah, when I've been there in the past, there's always been more than one decent beer to choose from on the tap list, so that's no surprise.
What I was floored by this time was how solid it was from top to bottom. Too bad I was on a 45 minute time restriction.
Good for you to live so close :)
Unfortunately, I think you're right that it often gets overlooked by those not willing to venture too far away from Center City neighborhoods. Let's change that!
btw, yes, the SPTR events are on my calendar.
